Confirming your email on Tarlen

When you first sign up, you'll be required to confirm your email. This is meant to protect Tarlen users by preventing unauthorised account creation using their personal information.

You’ll receive a code in your email that you’ll need to enter to verify your account and proceed with the registration.

Confirming your phone number on Tarlen.

Verifying your phone number helps us keep your account on Tarlen safe. We require you to first verify your phone number when completing your driver's license verification.

You'll receive a code to verify your email in an sms or through a call.

Reseting your password on Tarlen.

If you have forgotten your password or if you make a routine of resetting your passwords for your safety, you can reset your password by navigating to the log-in page and clicking on forgot password.

You'll be asked to enter your email, and an email will be sent to you with a link to reset your password. Following this link will open a page to help you enter your new password and complete the reset.

Deleting your account on Tarlen.

Presently, you can only close your account through the Tarlen app. You won’t be able to delete your account if you have an active trip, an open issue, a pending or escalated reimbursement request from your Host, or if it’s within 5 days of your trip’s end. This ensures that all outstanding issues, payments, and your deposit are settled.

If you have any upcoming trip of booking request, it'll all be cancelled and your payment refunded to you.

Follow these steps to delete your account;

  • Open the Tarlen App and log into your account.

  • Tap "more" at the bottom of your screen.

  • Click on "Delete my account".

  • Read the terms on the next page.

  • Choose or type your reason for deleting your account and complete the deletion process.

Please note, this action is irreversible. When you delete your account, your information will be purged from our systems within two weeks. Reach out to support to confirm complete deletion of your records from Tarlen at [email protected]
