Your bank requires you to verify that you are the one making an online payment with your debit or credit card through the 3DSecure protocol.
This extra layer of security protects your card against unauthorised use during online transactions.
How to authenticate your card using 3DSecure
Enter your card information on the checkout page and click/tap “Save card”.
We’ll send a request to charge your card R1 to authenticate it.
If your bank requires authentication, a pop-up will appear prompting you to enter an OTP or approve the transaction in your banking app.
The OTP or approval request is sent by your bank, not Tarlen. Neither Tarlen/the App/website nor your Host has access to your OTP.
Ensure your bank has your correct contact details as Tarlen has no control over its delivery method.
Once you complete the process, your bank will notify us, and we’ll proceed with the R1 charge. If successful, your card will be saved, and the R1 will be refunded to your account.
3DS authentication issue
No OTP Received: Check that your contact details with your bank are correct and up to date.
Persistent Issues: Try a different payment method or contact your card issuer for assistance.
